About K-Culture Now
K-Culture Now is an independent, English-language guide to Korean culture. We write for two kinds of readers: travelers and internationals in Korea who want to understand what they are seeing, and K-culture fans abroad who want to go deeper than the headlines.
What we cover
Our guides span the sides of Korean culture people actually ask about: food and dining, history and heritage, traditions and etiquette, the language and Hangul, K-pop, K-drama and film, arts and crafts, seasons and festivals, and practical travel tips. Each one is written in plain English, so you don't have to work through Korean-only sources.
How we keep it accurate
We do not publish anything we cannot verify. Every guide is researched from real sources and cites them, and we do not invent events, prices or facts. Details like opening hours and ticket prices change, so we point you to official pages to confirm time-sensitive information. If you spot an error, please contact us.
Photos
Photography comes from the Korea Tourism Organization's public-data gallery (used under the Korea Open Government License) and from stock libraries such as Pexels, with the photographer or source credited on each image.
Independence
K-Culture Now is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Korean government. We are a private editorial project. The site is supported by advertising and affiliate links, which lets us keep every guide free to read.
