Pentaport Rock Festival: a guide for music fans
Pentaport Rock Festival 2026 in Incheon (July 31 to August 2): the lineup, tickets, how to get there, and what to expect.
By K-Culture Now Editorial · Updated Jul 13, 2026

Pentaport is Korea's biggest rock festival, and the 2026 edition runs Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2 at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, about 30 km west of Seoul. Three days, several stages, and a bill that leans international without ignoring the local scene.
Dates and venue
The festival takes over Songdo Moonlight Festival Park from July 31 to August 2, 2026. Songdo has hosted it for years, so there is room for multiple stages and a big crowd. It sits in Incheon, an easy trip from Seoul or straight from the airport.
Tickets
Passes come in a few tiers. Recent pricing has run around 240,000 KRW for a three-day pass and 120,000 KRW for a single day, with early-bird rounds a little cheaper. Buy only through official channels: the festival lists NOL Ticket, YES24 and N-Ticket for Korea, and NOL WORLD, Modern Sky and Trip.com for international buyers. Prices and sellers change each year, so confirm on the official site before you pay.
The 2026 lineup
The bill runs to 66 acts across genres. Confirmed names include Massive Attack, the Pixies and Khruangbin from abroad, alongside Korean acts like Hyukoh and Say Sue Me. The lineup fills out in stages, so check the official page for the latest additions and set times.
Getting there
Songdo is easy to reach without a car.
- Subway — take Seoul Subway Line 1 to Incheon, then Incheon Subway Line 1 to International Business District Station; the park is a short walk.
- From the airport — Incheon Airport is close, so many fans fly in and head straight over. Our Incheon Airport to Seoul guide covers the transport options.
- By car — parking near the grounds is tight, so public transport is the easier call.
Where to stay
Incheon has rooms at every budget, from Songdo hotels to guesthouses and hostels across the city. Book early, because festival weekend fills up. There is no official campground, so do not count on camping unless you have confirmed a nearby site.
On the day
- Food — stalls cover Korean and international dishes, usually with vegetarian and vegan options.
- Facilities — restrooms, first aid and merch booths are on site.
- Weather — late July in Incheon is hot and humid, roughly 25 to 33°C, with a real chance of rain. Pack a poncho.
- What to bring — sunscreen, a hat, a refillable water bottle, and shoes you can stand in all day.
Where Pentaport came from
The festival traces back to the 1999 Tri-port Rock Festival, which ran into money trouble and folded in its first year. It was rebranded and relaunched as Pentaport in 2006, built around five ideas: music, passion, eco-friendliness, DIY spirit and friendship. It has been a fixture of Korea's rock scene ever since, pulling in international headliners year after year.
Before you go
- Buy tickets only from official vendors; resale scams are common.
- Plan your route ahead, since traffic and last trains matter on festival nights.
- Stay hydrated, note the first-aid points, and pace yourself in the heat.
